Responsible for overall operations of a field and or plant distribution magazine location. Ensure safe, secure, and efficient induction, inventory and delivery of explosive products in compliance with internal and external policies.

Responsible for overall operations of a field and or plant distribution magazine location. Ensure safe, secure, and efficient induction, inventory and delivery of explosive products in compliance with internal and external policies and regulations. Manage inventory transactions related to receipt and distribution of products ensuring accuracy of inventory records. Provide personal interface to direct reports and customers focusing on delivery performance and service.

Leadership and mentoring of direct reports
Conduct pre-shift meetings and provide education to employees as necessary
Complete inventory transactions accurately. Responsible for security and accountability of explosive materials in storage through delivery to customer
Job Risk identification, containment and mitigation
Responsible for site property, vehicles, material handling equipment, structures and operating budget
Responsible for implementation and compliance to IPL standards.
Compliance with applicable regulatory health and safety policies and practices in order to ensure personal safety and safety of others. Responsibility for coordinating HSEC management systems and security program on site.
Decision Making Authority: Practical problem solving, prioritization of work and labor management
Major Challenges: Schedule changes, environment (weather), cost containment
Education: High School diploma or equivalent education
Experience: General Office with knowledge of inventory management, transportation, warehouse operations and hazardous materials.Customer Service and strong interpersonal skills required
Hazmat/CDL driver’s license
Possessor of Explosives certification
Work Environment and Physical Requirements (Required in USA)
Grasping, reaching overhead, carrying, lifting, climbing, push/pull, stooping, walking, sitting, and standing.
Personal protective equipment mandatory for specific tasks- safety glasses, steel-toe shoes/work boots, gloves and high visibility clothing
Some travel required
Must be able to adjust to various climate conditions ranging from mild to extreme
